about

Four angles, four acts. Using an oblique language, with the participation of musicians Steve Shelley (drums), Guilherme Valério (kalimba), Bruno Trchmn (buzuq) and Edgar (voice), duo Marco Nalesso and Luciano Valério develop ambiences as connected conversations and, why not, interconnetions with living nature, which is increasingly distant from the great urban centers of the world.

The cover illustrates a bunch of people who seem to be arround the same center. There is also another reading to it, in which the same art could represent the image of a single person, replicated several times, running in search of its own center.

Within such a search, Nalesca Mantega's new record can be divided into four steps immersed in a single tale. "#1" is the introduction that clings to "Brisalho" and to the interlude "#4", which, supported by a looping of notes that disappear on the horizon, sets the stage for "Jodo", the last track of the album.
In the end, Nalesca Mantega offers the steps; the complete path though, broken or nonlinear, is up to the listener to decide.
